Auto updates

Spanna checks the stable update feed and downloads updates in the background when a newer version is available.

What to expect

• update checks on startup and over time
• a restart prompt when the update is ready
• explicit restart action to apply the update

If updates fail

Check:

• network access to the update service
• app version and channel
• whether the installed build was a real release build
